Wellesley House Nursing Home provides residential care and support to adults of all ages living with dementia and physical disabilities. Inspectors found the home now rated Good overall, having made significant improvements since a previous inspection identified breaches around consent, safe care, safeguarding and governance. The home is no longer in Special Measures.

The CQC found people were supported safely by sufficient trained staff who understood their risks and followed care plans tailored to individual needs. Consent and mental capacity were properly considered, and management had strengthened oversight and learning from incidents. People and relatives spoke positively, describing a caring, well-led home where they felt listened to.
