Mountfield House Care Home is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia, people with sensory impairments, physical disabilities and mental health needs. The CQC found the service had improved since its last inspection and was now rated good overall, though oversight of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards applications still needed attention.

People and relatives said they felt safe and well cared for, with enough staff available and risks properly managed. Inspectors found staff understood people's needs, supported their independence and choices, and welcomed visiting relatives, who described staff as consistently caring and kind.
