Aldergrove Manor Care Home

Aldergrove Manor Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to older people and younger adults, some living with dementia or physical disabilities, for up to 70 people. It remains rated as requires improvement overall, with the CQC finding many of the same concerns as at the previous inspection despite some action having been taken.

Inspectors found risks were not consistently assessed, medicines guidance was incomplete, staffing levels were not always sufficient, and training gaps remained. Governance systems were not consistently driving improvement, leading to three breaches of regulations. Positively, people were supported to manage their health needs and were involved in their care assessments.
