Ashley Court Care Limited

Ashley Court Care Limited is a care home providing support to older and younger people, some of whom are living with dementia. The CQC rated the service inadequate overall and has placed it in special measures following an assessment prompted by concerns about people's care. Inspectors found ongoing breaches relating to safe care, staffing, dignity, person centred care, and the Mental Capacity Act, with no significant improvement since the last inspection.

Care plans and risk assessments were often outdated, medicines were not always managed safely, and the environment posed infection risks. Staffing levels affected people's opportunities for interaction and activities. Staff were properly recruited and trained, and some people said they felt safe, but management systems were not effective in identifying or learning from concerns.
