Welcome House - Nickleby Lodge

This residential care home accommodates up to 10 people with mental health conditions in one adapted building featuring communal lounge and kitchen facilities. At inspection, five people were living at the service.

People faced significant risks due to insufficient staffing, particularly at night. Residents reported being unable to go out when they wished because of staff shortages. While people received their required medicines, medicine practices needed improvement to ensure safety. The environment was not well maintained or clean, presenting potential risks to residents. Staff did not always feel adequately supported or have sufficient opportunities for development.
