Castle View House

Castle View House is a residential care home providing accommodation and care for up to eight people living with mental illness. Seven residents were living at the service at the time of inspection. The home is managed by a registered manager who is also the provider.

Staff at the service demonstrated commitment to supporting residents' wellbeing and independence. The home maintained appropriate safeguarding procedures and staff were trained in recognizing and responding to potential abuse. Records showed regular monitoring of residents' health and care needs, with staff ensuring medication was managed safely and appropriately.

The registered manager was actively involved in the day-to-day running of the home and worked closely with residents and their families. The service appeared to operate effectively with clear systems in place to support the small number of residents cared for.
