Lizbis Care Home

Lizbis Care Home provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 19 people with conditions such as dementia and frailty of old age. At inspection, 15 people were using the service.

Systems for learning from incidents and driving improvement were not effective. Accident and incident forms lacked detail about actions taken in response, though the provider and registered nurses were aware of these incidents. Environmental safety concerns were also identified, including a fire door found wedged open when it should have remained closed, and medicine storage arrangements that required improvement.
