About Sinon House Therapeutic Unit

Sinon House Therapeutic Unit is a small, dedicated care home in Medway, offering a setting where young people can feel genuinely supported during an important time in their lives. The team here understands how much it means to families to find a place that feels safe and caring, and that commitment to thoughtful, personalised support is central to everything they do.

Sinon House Therapeutic Unit provides personal care for up to three young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, mental health difficulties, eating disorders and behaviours that challenge. The home accommodates residents across three floors with two communal lounges, a small garden and utility room. At inspection, three young people aged 16-18 were being supported through their transition into adulthood.

Young people told inspectors they liked the staff and appeared relaxed and comfortable in the home's care.
