About Walton Lodge

Walton Lodge is a residential care home in Doncaster, providing support for adults, including some people living with a learning disability and/or autism. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Walton Lodge is a residential care home providing support to up to 20 adults, some living with a learning disability and/or autism. The CQC rated the service as Requires Improvement overall, identifying breaches relating to safety and governance. Quality checks in place had not been effective in spotting these concerns, and support plans needed more person-centred detail on people's health needs.

Inspectors found staffing levels were sufficient and people received kind, person-centred care that respected their dignity and independence. People and relatives spoke positively about staff and felt safe. The provider had begun making improvements following the assessment, though these will take time to embed fully.
