Liberty House

Liberty House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 81 people, including some living with dementia. The CQC assessed the home after concerns about staffing, personal care and social activities, and following an earlier "requires improvement" rating. Inspectors found significant improvement, with risks well managed, medicines given safely, and staff recruited properly.

People and relatives described staff as kind, attentive and respectful, and said they felt safe and involved in their care. Social activities, healthcare access and information sharing between staff were all working well. Management had good oversight, though a minor issue with weekend reception cover was already being addressed.

The home is now rated good overall.
