Dunniwood Lodge

Dunniwood Lodge is a residential care home in Doncaster providing personal care for up to 40 people, including some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, prompted by a review following concerns about staffing and activities. Inspectors found sufficient staff, safe premises, effective risk management and medicines administered properly.

People and relatives described staff as kind, respectful and responsive, and said they felt well cared for and involved in decisions. Healthcare advice was followed and management was approachable and well organised. Inspectors did note that support for people living with dementia could improve, particularly through better dementia friendly signage and tactile objects.
