Walcot Hall Nursing Home

Walcot Hall Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to 37 residents aged 65 and over in a large adapted period house on the outskirts of a village. The service can support up to 42 people across two floors and has extensive grounds and communal dining and recreation areas. Residents were safe, with risks properly assessed, monitored and well managed. Staffing levels met people's personalised care needs, and staff followed good practice guidelines to prevent infection spread and administered medicines safely. The service maintained high standards of cleanliness and supported residents to access health services appropriately.
