About Trees Nursing Home

Trees Nursing Home is a nursing home in Norfolk, providing personal and nursing care for older people. The CQC's most recent findings on this service are summarised below.

Trees Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 21 older people. At inspection, 20 people were using the service. Relatives, residents, and staff described the registered manager and nominated individual as approachable and helpful, with many commenting on the family atmosphere.

Staff understood their safeguarding responsibilities and knew residents and their preferences well.

However, some areas needed improvement. Processes for staff to escalate clinical concerns were not always clear, and the electronic care planning system was not being used effectively. Care plans did not always contain detailed information about residents' needs and preferences.

While the nominated individual had discussed planned improvements to the service, these had not been formalised into the service action plan.
