Upton Manor

This residential care home provides personal and nursing care to up to 67 people aged 65 and over, though only 26 people were using the service at inspection. The purpose-built premises spans three floors, with the upper floor dedicated to supporting people living with dementia. The other two floors are intended for residential and nursing care.

Since the previous inspection, the service has strengthened its approach to managing risks. Staff have completed robust risk assessments to minimise risks to people during care delivery and from the environment. The use of restraint has reduced, and staff demonstrate a supportive approach to care.
