Burwood Nursing Home

This nursing home provides personal and nursing care to up to 58 people, primarily older adults. At the time of inspection, 37 people were using the service. Residents and families consistently described the care as outstanding, with one person stating, "You have a great life. The staff can never do enough for you." Staff demonstrated kindness and respect, recognising residents' strengths and capabilities whilst maintaining their dignity and privacy.

The home offers person-centred care tailored to individual needs, preferences and life histories. Residents are actively involved in decisions about their daily lives, and staff support them to maintain independence and choice. The service celebrates residents' skills and ensures they spend time engaged in meaningful activities that reflect their past hobbies and interests.
