Upton House

Upton House provides personal care for up to 20 older people, with a focus on supporting those living with dementia. At inspection, 17 people were using the service. Medicine management requires attention to ensure records are accurate and procedures safer.

A quality assurance system has been introduced with checks and audits, though it is still embedding and has not consistently identified all shortfalls. The service culture has improved notably, with relatives now able to visit freely and spend time in residents' rooms.
