Sholden Hall Residential Home

Sholden Hall provides personal care for up to 27 people, many living with dementia, in a single adapted building. At the time of inspection, 26 people were using the service. Residents and relatives reported feeling safe and happy at the home.

However, inspectors identified significant gaps in risk management. Potential health and welfare risks had not been consistently assessed, and staff lacked adequate guidance to mitigate identified risks. Environmental hazards posed additional concerns, particularly unsecured stairway doors that increased the risk of falls among residents.
