Umika Lodge Care Home

This residential care home provides personal care to up to 29 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 20 people were using the service. While care plans and risk assessments were in place detailing how people liked to be supported, care was not always delivered in line with this guidance. People were not consistently supported to engage in meaningful activities of their choice, and records lacked detail about how residents were being supported with their preferred pastimes. The provider had made improvements to their processes for monitoring the quality and safety of the service.
