Inspectors found people and their relatives spoke positively about the care provided, describing staff as friendly, attentive and helpful, and people said they felt comfortable raising concerns. Some relatives felt staffing levels at weekends limited opportunities for social time and shared meals.

The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall. Inspectors found continuing breaches of legislation relating to safe care and treatment, person-centred care and good governance, meaning insufficient progress had been made since the previous inspection. The provider has been asked to submit an action plan setting out how it will address these shortfalls.
