Turner Home

Turner Home is a residential care home providing accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 59 people, supporting those with mental and physical health conditions, including dementia. At the time of inspection, 52 people were living there. The home has made significant improvements to medicines management, with safer dispensing and administration processes now in place and medicines stored securely. People receive their medicines safely and as prescribed, with improved quality assurance processes. Staff now have access to personalised risk assessments that provide the information needed to safely manage risks associated with people's care.

The environment is safe, well-maintained and clean, with effective infection prevention and control measures in place. While improvements have been made in these areas, the consistency and quality of health and care monitoring records still requires further development.
