Redholme Memory Care Limited provides personal and nursing care to up to 55 people, with 51 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports older people living with dementia, accommodated across three separate wings each with adapted facilities. Staff knew residents well and delivered care in a caring and patient manner, with people speaking positively about their support and developing positive relationships with staff members. Residents were comfortable in the presence of staff.

The home was visibly clean, though some areas appeared tired in appearance and required refurbishment. A programme of refurbishment was planned and underway. Improvements were needed to strengthen quality assurance systems, including more robust auditing and daily recorded checks to identify potential shortfalls that could place people at risk. The registered manager needed to ensure the wider management team fully understood their roles and responsibilities for delegated tasks.
