The Hamlets

The Hamlets is a residential care and nursing home in Liverpool supporting up to 30 people, including those living with dementia and mental health needs. At the time of inspection, 27 people were residing at the home. Governance and quality assurance systems have improved significantly, with more robust auditing in place. Risk assessments and records now accurately reflect people's current needs and provide staff with clear guidance on safe support. Medications are administered in line with best practice, and accident and incident logs are regularly reviewed for patterns and trends.

The home has enhanced its infection control practices and overall cleanliness. While some bedrooms require decoration, furniture is in good condition and communal areas have an agreed refurbishment programme underway. Staffing levels are adequate with suitably qualified personnel in place. People's privacy is respected throughout the service. Residents report feeling safe and express positive views of the staff working at the home.
