Park View Care Home

Park View Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 56 people, some living with dementia. The CQC found the service requires improvement, with breaches of four legal regulations covering governance, safe care and treatment, consent, and staffing. Medicines were not always managed safely, care records lacked personalisation, and staffing levels were not consistently sufficient to meet people's needs.

Inspectors found staff were generally kind and respectful, and people described feeling safe, though some said assistance could be slow and staff seemed stretched. A new manager and deputy had recently been appointed, but oversight systems remained weak and had missed opportunities to drive improvement. The provider has been asked to submit an action plan.
