Camelot Rest Home

Camelot Rest Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 39 older people, younger adults and those with dementia. At inspection, 29 people were living at the home. The service has made significant improvements since the last inspection. Training is now up to date and staff find it useful, individual slings are being used correctly for people being hoisted, and audits have become more detailed and thorough. People feel safe at the home and relatives have raised no concerns about how staff support their family members. Staff are knowledgeable about escalating issues and aware of potential risks when providing support. Medicines are administered appropriately, staff use correct protective equipment when assisting people, and accidents and incidents are managed properly. The home follows safe recruitment practices.
