The White House Falmouth

The White House Falmouth provides care and support for up to 17 older people, currently supporting 14 residents. Since the last inspection, staffing levels have improved with additional night staff recruited and day staff recruitment ongoing. This expansion, combined with appropriate use of agency staff, has enabled the dedicated team to work more reasonable hours, with staff no longer working excessive shifts. Care plans and risk assessments have been reviewed and updated to accurately reflect each person's current needs and guide staff on managing identified risks. Environmental safety has significantly improved, with fire doors no longer propped open and cleaning materials now stored safely. Personal emergency evacuation plans are now in place for residents detailing the level of support each person would need in an emergency. However, recruitment records remain disorganised and lack the required information necessary to demonstrate that prospective staff are suitable for employment in the care sector.
