Falmouth Court Care Home

Falmouth Court is a newly built residential care home providing personal care to up to 66 people, with a focus on older people and those living with dementia. At inspection, 32 people were using the service. The registered manager explained that admissions were being managed carefully to ensure adequate staffing levels, stating they wanted to provide the best care without overextending staff. Although there were some vacancies, sufficient staff were in place to meet people's needs and ensure their safety, with staff demonstrating good knowledge of the people they cared for.

The service had effective safeguarding systems and staff understood the actions required to protect people from harm or abuse. Recruitment processes were robust and safe, and prescribed medicines were being administered safely to residents.
