Home of Compassion is a care home with nursing for up to 78 older people, including those living with dementia. The service provides residential, nursing, palliative and respite care. At the time of inspection, 33 people were living at the home, with six receiving respite care.

Staff demonstrated a strong understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities and knew how to report concerns about abuse. The home reported incidents to CQC and the local authority where necessary, ensuring that adverse events were properly investigated and lessons learned from them.
