The Shrubbery Nursing Home

The Shrubbery Nursing Home provides care and nursing for up to 38 older people, including those living with dementia or physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, there were 27 residents in the adapted single building.

People and their relatives expressed positive views about how the home was managed and the care provided. However, the home had not consistently informed CQC of important events as required, resulting in delays in notifying the regulator of some significant matters. The provider's checking systems had failed to ensure these mandatory notifications were reported in a timely manner.
