Hollyfields

Hollyfields is a care home with nursing for older people, some living with dementia, and younger adults, registered for up to 48 people. The assessment, prompted by concerns about falls and staffing, found the CQC's expectations were being met overall. Care plans were person-centred, risks generally well documented, and staff were safely recruited, trained in safeguarding and understood how to raise concerns.

People described staff as kind and respectful, and felt their dignity and privacy were protected. Most felt there were enough staff and call bells were answered promptly, though inspectors observed occasions where people unable to use call bells were left distressed without staff nearby. The home is rated Good overall.
