The Orchard

The Orchard provides residential care and personal support for up to six people with diverse needs including dementia, learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities. The home is a family-sized property in a residential area where staff who know residents well deliver care based on comprehensive risk assessments and personalised care plans. Residents receive medicines as prescribed and staff arrange and support health appointments as needed.

Staff demonstrate strong safeguarding awareness and understand how to recognise and report abuse concerns. Residents reported feeling safe in the home. Infection prevention and control measures are implemented effectively, with staff using appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining regular cleaning schedules. Staff have received appropriate training and have been recruited safely to support people in meeting their individual targets and goals.
