The New Careford Lodge Limited

The home accommodates up to 18 older people in a single storey building with en-suite rooms. At inspection, all 18 places were occupied. Residents felt safe and well cared for, describing staff as friendly and kind. They reported feeling very comfortable and relaxed with their carers and appreciated being able to make choices about their daily lives. Staff morale was strong, creating a happy atmosphere throughout the home.

Staff had access to training and residents had confidence in their abilities. The home supported people to have maximum choice and control, with policies and systems in place to enable this. Care was provided respectfully, in accordance with each person's individual wishes and in their best interests.
