Middle Path

Middle Path, run by AutismWessex, is a residential care home for up to four autistic people or those with other complex needs, with accommodation in a main house and an attached annexe. Inspectors carried out a responsive assessment following concerns raised about safety and leadership, and found the service was performing well overall, rated Good.

People said they felt safe and happy, and relatives and professionals praised staff as kind, patient and compassionate. Confidence in management had improved considerably since a new manager took over, and communication with relatives had strengthened, which families hoped would continue.
