Vaughan Lee House

Vaughan Lee House is a care home providing support and accommodation for older people. At the time of the assessment, 25 people were living there. The CQC found the service had improved significantly since a previous inspection, resolving four earlier breaches relating to safe care, staffing, safeguarding and governance, and it is now rated Good overall.

Inspectors found staff knew people well, treated them as individuals and respected their independence and choices. Medicines were managed safely, and the home was clean and well maintained. Some further work was still needed on keeping records up to date and strengthening quality monitoring systems, but people felt safe, well cared for and confident to raise concerns.
