Cambian Lufton Manor College

Cambian Lufton Manor College is a college providing residential support for autistic people and people with a learning disability aged 16 to 25, referred to as students. At the time of assessment, 14 young people were living there. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it had resolved previous concerns and was no longer in breach of regulations relating to restrictions on liberty.

Inspectors found staff exceptional at promoting independence, choice and access to community life, work placements and hobbies. Medicines were managed safely, recruitment was robust, and consent and best interest decisions followed the law. Students and relatives spoke positively about feeling safe and supported to build life skills.
