The Minster

The Minster provides care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities, many of whom have limited verbal communication. The home accommodates up to 10 people in single occupancy bedrooms across two levels and operates with 24-hour staffing. At inspection, the service was operating at full capacity.

People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible through policies and systems that reflected this approach. The home maintained safe care through systems designed to protect people from abuse and harm. The service remained rated Good, with evidence continuing to support this rating.
