About The Lodge Residential Home

The Lodge Residential Home is a residential care home in Leicestershire, offering personal care and accommodation for older people. Further details from the CQC's most recent inspection are set out below.

The Lodge Residential Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 32 older people. The CQC found the service performing well overall, rated Good.

Inspectors found a positive, well-led culture, with good staff recruitment, training and consistent monitoring of people's health needs. Care plans reflected individual histories and preferences, and people and relatives spoke warmly of kind, attentive staff. Some improvements were needed around guidance for "as required" medicines, and a few relatives felt staffing levels sometimes limited community outings.
