Spencefield Grange

Spencefield Grange provides personal and nursing care to 55 people aged 65 and over in a purpose-built facility with capacity for up to 60 residents. The home supported people to maintain contact with family and friends through visits. Staff had received training on infection prevention and used personal protective equipment in line with current guidance, with information about correct use displayed throughout the service. Regular COVID-19 testing was in place for both staff and residents, enabling swift action if positive cases were identified.

The service implemented measures to manage infection spread, including isolation and cohorting when necessary. Management conducted regular checks and audits to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the home.
