The Limes Care Home is a residential care home without nursing, supporting 16 people at the time of assessment. The CQC found significant improvement since the last inspection, when the provider had been in breach of regulations around governance, safeguarding and safe care. Risks were now managed safely, healthcare access had improved, and leadership was more visible and responsive.
As a result, the service is no longer in Special Measures.
Staff were generally described as kind and respectful, and people felt safe and able to make everyday choices. However, inspectors found care plans were inconsistent, care sometimes task focused, and meaningful interaction and independence not always promoted, leaving some residents feeling isolated.
