The Lakes

The Old Vicarage accommodates up to 30 older people and those living with dementia in one adapted building. At inspection, 27 people were using the service. While residents reported feeling safe, safety risks had not been managed effectively, and some infection control measures required by regulations had not been completed. Staff were trained to identify abuse, but the provider had not always followed robust procedures when allegations were raised. The home had sufficient staffing levels, and people received their medicines safely.
