Lapstone House

Lapstone House provides accommodation and personal care to up to 23 people, supporting older adults, those living with dementia, and people with physical disabilities or sensory impairments. At inspection, 18 people were using the service. The home changed providers following local government reorganisation, now operated by Cumberland Council.

People at the home were safe and protected from abuse and avoidable harm. Staff assessed and managed risks to people's safety effectively. Care was responsive to individual needs, with staff building strong relationships and supporting people with compassion. The home maintained a person-centred approach, ensuring residents' preferences and choices were respected.
