The Hollies and Hollies Lodge

The Hollies and Hollies Lodge provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for 24 people with complex mental health needs, split across two separate parts of the building. Each person has their own room, some with en-suite facilities. The management team has taken a proactive approach to keeping people safe, implementing timely actions and helping residents understand risks and their personal responsibility. Staff have provided consistent support and guidance despite the significant challenges these complex needs sometimes present. In-house activities have been developed to offer people alternatives to community-based activities. The service has maintained strict precautions including regular testing, cleaning, temperature monitoring and vaccination record management for people, staff and visitors, resulting in minimal impact from COVID-19. Appropriate checks, including vaccination status verification, were in place for visiting professionals.
