Brooke House

Brooke House is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 35 people, primarily aged over 65, many of whom are living with dementia. The service consists of a main house across two floors with a people carrying lift and a separate ground floor unit designed to support people with more advanced stages of dementia. The home is surrounded by spacious grounds offering residents opportunities to spend time outside. At inspection, 26 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified concerns regarding incident reporting. A review of accident, incident, and medicine management records revealed examples of incidents that had not been reported to the local authority safeguarding team or to CQC as required.
