The Herons is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 39 older people, with all bedrooms en-suite. The facility includes a range of communal spaces such as a lounge, dining room, reading room and visitors room.
Residents were supported to maintain contact with family members and friends using telephones and video calling, with a separate visitors' area and designated entrance enabling safe visiting. Staff were observed wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment in line with government guidance.
