Sutton in the Elms

This 42-bed residential care and nursing home provides care for older and younger people with dementia, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. During the inspection, 40 people were using the service. Managers and staff demonstrated strong communication with families, making regular phone calls to update relatives and reassure them about residents' wellbeing, particularly during periods of lockdown.

The service appointed 'Covid Marshals' on each shift to oversee visits, maintain well-stocked PPE stations, and keep high-risk areas of the premises clean.
