Aylesham Court Care Home accommodates up to 60 people requiring nursing or personal care in a purpose-built facility in Leicester Forest East, Leicestershire, with accommodation spread across two floors accessible by lift or stairs. At the time of inspection, 48 people were using the service. The registered manager ensured visitors could safely see family members during outbreaks by carefully assessing individual circumstances and associated risks. Staff wellbeing was actively supported through flexible working arrangements, enhanced benefits, access to a wellbeing phone line, and involving staff in roster planning. The registered manager noted these initiatives had successfully improved staff retention and reduced workplace stress.
