Springwood

Springwood is a residential care home providing support for up to 40 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found people felt safe and well cared for, with staff who knew residents' needs and worked well as a team under a supportive management structure.

People and relatives spoke positively about relationships with staff and the food provided, though some felt an extra staff member would help. Inspectors noted record keeping around weights, nutritional intake and behaviour monitoring needed improvement. Overall, the service was found to be caring, effective and responsive to concerns.
