Herries Lodge

Herries Lodge provides personal care for up to 47 people, some of whom are living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 45 people were using the service. People were safeguarded from abuse, with risks identified and managed to keep them safe. Accidents and incidents were monitored to identify trends and mitigate future risks. The building and equipment were maintained regularly to ensure safety, and there were enough staff to respond to people's needs in a timely way.

People received their medicines as prescribed by competent staff trained in safe handling. Pre-admission assessments covered all aspects of care and support needed, ensuring appropriate placements and individualised care planning from the outset.
