Silver Tree Lodge

Silver Tree Lodge accommodates up to eight people with a learning disability, with seven residents living there at the time of inspection. The home had implemented clear arrangements for visiting, allowing pre-booked in-house visits from March 2021 with appropriate COVID-19 safety measures in place including face masks, hand gel, temperature checks, and health questionnaires following negative lateral flow tests. Families and friends were kept well-informed of the visitor policies and procedures. Beyond formal visits, the home supported residents to maintain contact with loved ones through alternative methods and doorstep visits, ensuring people remained connected to their communities despite restrictions.
