About Sunnydale Care Home

Sunnydale Care Home is a small residential care home in North Somerset. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Sunnydale Care Home provides accommodation and support for a maximum of five people. The property does not have a passenger lift, so it is only suitable for people able to use the stairs. At the time of inspection, all five available places were occupied.

The home has implemented safe practices for visits. Visitors book appointments in advance and are greeted on arrival. They have their temperature checked, confirm their health status, wash their hands, and are provided with personal protective equipment including aprons, masks and gloves.

Visitors must also undertake a COVID lateral flow test and receive a negative result before visiting. All staff use appropriate PPE in line with current government guidance, and some residents choose to wear face masks in communal areas.
