Serenita

Serenita is a residential care home supporting up to 34 adults with a range of needs including mental health problems such as Korsakoff's syndrome and the effects of alcohol related brain damage. The service operates a three-step enablement programme designed to support people in returning to the community. The home features a large open plan lounge, dining room, games area, accessible garden, and en-suite bedrooms.

Staff implement effective safeguarding systems and follow clear procedures to protect people from abuse. Risks relating to people's care are identified and managed carefully, with staff discussing these risks with residents to encourage both safety and independence. Medicines are managed safely by trained staff. The home maintains adequate staffing levels, with staff receiving appropriate training, induction and supervision to carry out their roles effectively.
